Liz Morris

Liz Morris, MA(Oxon) BMBCh MRCP MRCGP PGDipHR, is a practicing GP working in Oxfordshire, UK, and an NIHR Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford, with the Health Behaviours Diet & Obesity team.

Her primary research interests are in dietary and health behavior change for patients with type 2 diabetes and obesity in primary care, and she has recently led the DIAMOND randomized controlled trial exploring the feasibility of training practice nurses to deliver and support a low-energy, low-carbohydrate dietary and behavioral intervention for these patients. 

Dr. Morris’s other roles include working in medical education as a clinical lecturer for medical students at Somerville College, University of Oxford.
