With the individual RISE studies now complete and published, the team will present comparisons of intensive medication in adults versus youth with prediabetes or early type 2 diabetes, and of medication versus gastric banding in adults.
The RISE investigators will provide an overview of their findings and present data on alpha cell function in adults and youth study participants at the 55th EASD Annual Meeting (EASD 2019):
