Sanjay Kalra

Sanjay Kalra, MBBS MD DM (AIIMS New Delhi), is an endocrinologist based at Bharti Hospital, Karnal, India. Former Executive Editor of the Indian Journal of Endocrinology & Metabolism (IJEM), he is currently Executive Editor of Thyroid Research and Practice (TRP), and Associate Editor of Diabetic Medicine (UK). He has worked as Principal Investigator in over 50 phase 1, 2 and 3 trials. As Vice President of the South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies (SAFES), he works to spread endocrine and diabetes awareness in the region, and beyond. In his spare time, he indulges in his favorite hobby, the Punjabi folk dance bhangra.


Yatan Pal Singh Balhara

Yatan Pal Singh Balhara, MBBS MD DNB (Psychiatry) MNAMS MSc, is a qualified psychiatrist working in the area of substance use disorders for the past 10 years. He completed his post graduation (MD) in Psychiatry and then went on to complete his master's degree in Addiction Studies offered by King’s College London, UK; University of Adelaide, Australia; and Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. He has published widely on issues related to substance use disorders and mental health. He serves on the editorial board of academic journals and is engaged in research on substance use disorders. He has presented his work at different international forums, including scientific conferences and meetings. He is also engaged in capacity building and serves as a resource person for training programs on management of substance use disorders. He has also been involved in the development of online resources on management of substance use disorders.
