ATTD 2019: Conference coverage and session recommendations

Medicine Matters diabetes will be bringing you coverage from the 12th International Conference on Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD), which kicks off Wednesday 20th February 2019 in Berlin, Germany. Bookmark our ATTD conference hub page or follow us on Twitter to ensure that you won't miss live reporting on late-breaking abstracts, session summaries and video commentaries from experts in the field.

The ATTD conference is focused on the use of devices and technology in diabetes, and aims to help healthcare professionals fully realize the potential of new technologies to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes in patients who are prescribed them.

This year's lively scientific programme boasts a broad range of topics and will address technological innovations and practical applications for diabetes technology such as:

  • Insulin analogs
  • Insulin delivery systems
  • Insulin pumps
  • Glucose sensors
  • Closed-loop systems

This year's sessions will be delivered by a number of world renowned diabetes and technology experts, including site contributors:

Advisory Board member Professor Katharine Barnard-Kelly PhD CPsychol AFBPsS will be presenting and moderating several sessions at the ATTD conference and has provided her recommendations below. You can also view all of Prof. Barnard's latest features here
